Not all calipers are created equal. We compare resolution, jaw types, IP ratings, and brand reliability to help you make the best choice for precision work.

Choose a caliper with the range and resolution your work actually needs. A 150 mm caliper is enough for most benches, while larger fabrication work may need 200 mm or 300 mm.

Check jaw alignment, zero repeatability, and battery access before buying. Smooth movement and consistent zeroing matter more than extra buttons.

For coolant, dust, or field use, prefer an IP-rated model. For clean electronics benches, a reliable standard digital caliper is often the better value.
